offers a broad assortment of various shapes, types and
sizes of steel nails.
1. Bright/Pallet Nails – Loose (Bulk Packed) with
diamond or blunt points
These are basically screw nails mainly used in wooden
pallets for providing robust grip. The commonly used
sizes are 3.05X57mm,63mm and 75mm lengths although diameters
ranging from 2.1mm till 3.3mm and maximum nail length
until 100mm with thread length till 75mm can also be
produced.
The loose nails are used largely in auto palletizers
for producing wooden pallets.
2. Vinyl Coated Diamond Point Collated Coil Pallet
Nails.
The coil nails are used in nailer guns for fixing nails
to the wood. The nails are collated at an angle of 15-16
degrees and held by copper coated steel wire. Unlike
the autopalletizers, here the nail application is done
manually using the pneumatic nail gun. The nail sizes
commonly used by the pallet manufacturers in Saudi Arabia
are 2.5mm and 2.75mm diameters with lengths of 45mm,55mm
and 64mm.
3. Ring Shank Nails
Ring shank nails have annular or ring shaped threads
unlike screw nails which has a threaded angle of approximately
60 degrees.
Ring shank nails are generally used in medium density
wood applications. They can be offered in various surface
finishings as bright, yellow passivated or zinc plated.
4. Concrete Nails
Hardened steel concrete (masonry) nails are produced
to Japanese standards in two shank types – grooved/fluted
or plain (smooth) round shank and finishing's of black
or zinc electroplated.
Maadaniyah has its own brand of ‘Grip Tight’ for regular
shank size nails referred to as Grip Tight Regular (GTR)
or slim shank size nails as Grip Tight Slim (GTS). The
concrete nails are of good quality and in conformance
to the technical specification shown.
Steel Wire Flat Head Diamond Point, Round Smooth Shank,
Bright or Zinc Plated Common Nails
Common nails are typically used in soft wood applications
unlike screw shank nails where dense material and hardwood
is used for greater holding power.
Common nails generally find application such as in
furniture, construction, boat building industries etc.
Maadaniyah offers both bright and electro galvanized
flat head, diamond point, smooth shank mild steel nails
packaged in 900 gms/box and 16 boxes/carton or bulk
packed 20 kgs/carton.
The sizes offered ranges from 14 SWG/ASWG till 6 SWG
/ ASWG and lengths from ¾” (19mm) till 4” (100mm).
